ESCA Graduate Power Engineering Scholarship

Power system engineers play a critical role in the research and development of innovative solutions to the challenges found in electric power systems and electricity markets. IIT has created the ESCA graduate power engineering scholarship in recognition of the $500,000 software gift from Alstom ESCA. The ESCA Graduate Power Engineering Scholarship provides tuition and stipend awards for outstanding Master and Ph.D. candidates. The graduate scholarship is $30,000 per year.

Graduate Scholarship Eligibility Requirements

  1. Full-time graduate student at IIT.
  2. Demonstrated an interest in power engineering through course selections, independent projects, or professional experience.
  3. Completed BSEE. Enrolled in Master of Science Electrical Engineering, Master of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Master of Electricity Markets, Ph.D. degree program with a power major/specialization. Expected to perform graduate-level research and write a thesis in the power field.
